• After spending yesterday trying to phone people with little success, I've gotten a moving date sorted for next Friday. Already for the past few days I've been sorting through stuff (IE with a large binbag) and chucking piles of stuff out, recycling photocopied textbooks, cutting up old magazines etc. I will of course realize after ( Read more... )

Today's been one hell of a day. I get up at a reasonable time of the morning, so as to be properly prepared for meeting one of my co-signers for the new house, going over the forms then handing them in. • Today me, Kirsten, Tom and Ali went for an actual picnic - in the sun, with food and drink and a cloth and everyfink. Plus when I questioned Kirsten's claim that sandwiches taste better when they're made for you, she took that as a challenge. Result - two delicious Egg-Mayo and Spinach sarnies.

Speaking of moving, i'm also chewing through the piles of books here in the flat so I won't be carting 6 crates away with me. I usually generate a few cratefuls after a year of living in a student place, but this year I had a tight budget and little space. Plus this year I can get shot of my textbooks ^__^

Y'know what? I was originally going to post a rant that was all "Fuck You, Sunday" for today being unproductive at precisely the wrong time, when I remembered something important;

HFS I finished one of my dissertations last night. Completely.
